Commodities.tz ("we", "us") operates the commodities.tz network of websites, including vanilla.tz, clove.tz, coffeebean.tz, cacao.tz, cashews.tz, cardamom.tz, honey.tz and spices.tz. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

When you submit a sourcing request (RFQ) or contact form, we collect the information you provide — which may include your name, company, email address, phone number, and details of your enquiry. We store this in our database so that a submission is never lost, even if outbound email delivery fails.

Where analytics is enabled on a given portal, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

How we use your information

RFQ and contact submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to connect you with suppliers or sourcing information. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Data retention

We retain RFQ and contact records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain accurate business records, after which they may be archived or deleted.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted to us by contacting us via our Contact page.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary for the site to function and, where analytics is active on a given portal, a small number of analytics cookies. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
