About Commodities.tz

Commodities.tz is an independent commodity intelligence and sourcing information platform covering Tanzania's major agricultural export commodities — coffee, cashews, cacao, cloves, vanilla, cardamom, honey and other spices.

We publish market information, origin and quality context, a directory of publicly-sourced suppliers, and trade/export guidance for international buyers, Tanzanian producers, exporters, cooperatives and researchers. Alongside the central network at commodities.tz, we operate dedicated commodity portals (vanilla.tz, clove.tz, coffeebean.tz, cacao.tz, cashews.tz, cardamom.tz, honey.tz and spices.tz) so each commodity has a focused home for its market, origin and sourcing information.

What we are not

Commodities.tz is an independent private platform. We are not a government agency, commodity board, or regulator, and we do not represent or speak on behalf of the Tanzania Coffee Board, Cashewnut Board of Tanzania, Zanzibar State Trading Corporation, or any other official body. Where we reference official data or regulation, we cite the primary source directly — see our Data Sources registry.

How we work
